Visualizing the Los Angeles Skyline Across Decades

ParcelScope put together an impressive interactive 3D visualization of buildings in Los Angeles.

The project visualizes an enormous volume of municipal and architectural data. You can scrub through time to watch the city develop chronologically, or colorize buildings by the decade they were constructed or their physical height. It’s a gorgeous piece of geospatial data visualization.
